Nevertheless, I am very proud of the first offerings from my garden (with the exception of basil, which I have cut and used a few times). Todd was so excited to eat this tomato. He popped the whole thing in his mouth so quickly that Ryan didn't have a chance to get a bite. So, I let Ryan pick another tomato that wasn't quite as red. This morning Ryan went out and picked two more tomatoes--one for him and one to share with Todd. I can't believe that we (they, actually) had a chance to eat our home-grown tomatoes before the bugs or bunnies got to them.

Bumper Crop
It may not be enough for some homemade salsa. . . .
